District 4 - Voters Choose One of Two Candidates

Matthew Scully - Candidate - Greenville City Council District 4

    Matthew Scully

    Your current job and title:

Owner and operator of The Scullery

    Your highest level of education?

Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from ECU

If you're elected or re-elected, what will be your top priority? Why?

To serve the people of my district. To bring people together in order to make our city a safer and more enjoyable place to live. I want to give back to the community that has given me and my family so much.

If you're elected or re-elected, how will you involve your constituents in the process of making decisions?

I will listen to and learn from my neighbors in District 4. People can always find me at The Scullery. I will also host neighborhood meetings and community events, and I look forward to getting to know my neighbors better.

Why should voters choose you for the position you're running for?

I truly care about our community, and I want to protect it and make it stronger. I want a safe and successful community for my family and for my business. I want to lift people up and bring people together. Being a successful small business owner downtown has given me the experience and the relationships necessary to be a successful councilman.

Which three things about you do you most want voters to know?

I know how to bring different people together. I have a servant's heart. I love this community and want the best for the people of Greenville.

Is there anything else about you that you wish to tell voters?
