If you're elected or re-elected, how will you involve your constituents in the process of making decisions?

I was appointed to fill a temporary District 1 seat on the Pitt County School Board in April 2024. Currently I am a candidate
for that seat as my appointment expires on November 30, 2024. I am committed to Pitt County, which is evidenced by my active involvement in serving the community. Through my service I have established relationships with many of my constituents. As a Board member and candidate, I visit schools and attend functions that allow me to interact with constituents and actively listen and discuss policies. This gives me a knowledge of preferences and concerns of the people I represent and allows me to make informed decisions.

Why should voters choose you for the position you're running for?

Voters should vote for me because I am an experienced educator with a strong knowledge base of educational policy and programs. I am an active listener, effective communicator who
invites input from those I represent.
